FAQ:
Hotel & Meal Policies for Oregon TBI Team Members
Below are answers to frequently asked questions regarding mileage, accommodations and meals for Team Members during TBI seminar sessions.
District Responsibilities
- The Team Member's district or employing organization pays for a substitute teacher (if needed) and mileage to travel to and from the TBI training.
Hotel
If you are a TBI Team Member and must travel a distance to get to the training, please request a hotel room when you register to attend the seminar: The Team has a history of ‘selling-out’ mid-sized hotels; please book early.
- If you are booked for two nights but do not show up for the first, the hotel will cancel your reservation and charge us for the first night.
- Please let us know if your plans change; we can generally cancel a room until the day before the session.
- If you have not received hotel confirmation and it is the week before the seminar, please contact the TBI Team to confirm that your room is reserved.
Meals
- The TBI Team cannot reimburse for the cost of meals during travel to or from the seminar.
- Before the seminar starts, continental breakfast will be available to Team Members staying at the hotel.
- Lunch is provided during the seminar.
After the first day of training, the Oregon TBI Team hosts a dinner for Team members.
- RSVP for the dinner by email before the seminar.
- Team members who attend will have their meal paid for. We cannot reimburse for the cost of dinner elsewhere.
- Please let us know if you bring a guest to dinner. You and your guest will need to have separate checks.
- The number of entrees on our bill needs to equal the number of Team Members at the dinner.
